St. Matthews
About a year before, this woman had a hand injury that led to a severely bent, crooked finger that was frozen in place. During prayer, she could see the finger straighten, and then it became normal in movement. Since the injury she couldn’t grasp or make a fist, but now the hand is normal.
This woman witnessed to the fact that she had had five years of severe elbow pain almost all the time and now it is totally gone — no pain at all anymore.
This woman testified that she wore hearing aids, but that they were often not very effective because of the degree of her deafness. She told how, during the service, she repeatedly asked her husband “what did he say” even with hearing aids working. Then suddenly hearing became clear, and when she took out the hearing aid she could understand everything very well. Three months later she reported that she didn’t realize it at the time, but ever since the Miracle Healing Service she has been able to read fine print that she was not able to read prior to that time (She had received two healings at the same time: both hearing and vision).
During prayer for lung conditions this man indicated that he experienced intense heat in his chest. He had the diagnosis of “Sarcoid” with five years of chest pain and shortness of breath. At the Miracle Healing Service he witnessed that the pain had gone but also that the shortness of breath was gone.
This woman testified that she had a twenty-year history of severe shoulder pain due to an accident. She said that it felt that it was out of place. She had very limited motion normally but after prayer she was totally healed with no more pain and was able to move normally.
St Benedict
Shortly after this woman had shoulder surgery she tripped on stairs and reached out with her operated arm to catch herself. She felt things rip apart around her shoulder and under her arm, with horrible pain since that time. While receiving prayer, all pain went away.
This woman said she had fallen down three months before. Since then she had left leg pain and was unable to walk without limping. After prayer she eagerly testified, “No more pain, no more limp, even climbing steps!”
A woman who had sustained a brain injury witnessed to a healing at the Miracle Healing Service at the Basilica. Up until that time, she had been unable to walk or speak any words, but began to speak as a result of prayer there. She witnessed at the subsequent Miracle Healing Service at St Thomas More that she began to walk after prayer at St. Benedict and was able with help to walk more than twenty steps at a time. Her goal? Snowboarding!
This man told about how six months ago while driving his car he found he had no strength in his leg when he tried to push on the brakes. Since that time he was unable to lift the leg and could only walk with a noticeable limp. He has had severe pain in his back and leg since that initial incident. At the Miracle Healing Service all pain disappeared and he was immediately able to lift his leg high in the air. There was no limp when walking, and he had no problem climbing stairs.
St. Thomas More
This woman witnessed to having had ten years of severe breast pain in the high 8 to 10 range, and it kept her from sleeping. She said that with prayer the pain completely disappeared.
This woman said she had a pinched nerve in neck, which prevented turning of head or driving for two weeks. After prayer she was instantly back to normal, and she continues to be well
This man has had four months of what his doctor diagnosed as Tennis Elbow. It prevented him from grasping anything tightly with his right hand. Grasping caused pain in his elbow. After prayer he is totally free of pain and is able to grasp things tightly with no hint of discomfort.
This woman had had Arthritis for years, but for several months the pain was much worse, limiting movement, especially going up stairs. Her pain level was usually in the 8 to 10 range, but after prayer it is very low, about a 1 or 1 1/2..
These are testimonies that people told later of what the Lord has done as a result of a Miracle Healing Service.
There was a man who did testify at St Matthews MHS about having continual severe pain in the neck preventing him from moving his head around after an injury fifty five years ago. He demonstrated his new freedom of motion, saying he was pain-free. About three weeks later he told Bob that the pain had returned after being totally gone for ten days. Somewhat discouraged, Bob and he agreed to continue to pray since God had clearly done something at the MHS. When they met again a few months later, Bob asked how things had been going. He said that he still felt clicking when he turned his head, but when asked about pain, the answer was that there was no pain.
A woman in danger of premature delivery (13 weeks early) had proxy prayer at the MHS at St Thomas. Her mom saw a noticeable change in her, about the time of proxy prayer) and she confirmed that something like thirty pounds seemed to lift off her and suddenly uterine contractions quieted down. Her appointment the next day with the high-risk OB indicated that things now were not problematic.
Now two months later she is carrying baby towards normal full-term.
A woman who was unable to conceive came to a MHS. Had surgery and was told she had extensive scar tissue that would make it very hard to get pregnant . During the service she sensed something was happening and shortly after discovered she was pregnant.
A week ago, a man walked up to Bob and said, I recognize you, I went to the MHS at St Thomas More with a who friend had pancreas cancer that had spread to the liver and several other organs . He was was on chemotherapy with little hope of success. After the MHS he had further tests, and there was no sign of cancer!
